Research Interests

My research vision is to develop π-conjugated organic materials for addressing energy and environmental issues. Toward this goal, I design and synthesize π-conjugated organic materials by considering their comprehensive chemical, photophysical and electrochemical properties for energy and environmental applications. My research topics are photosensitizers for dye-sensitized systems, electrophotocatalyst for synthetic photoelectrochemistry, and conjugated microporous polymers for supercapacitors and organic solvent nanofiltration.
